Remember that kid in school who always got their homework done on time, kept their cool when everyone else was in a panic and was always there when you needed a hand? You know, the one who was so darned pleasant to be around you couldn’t even hate them. That was you, wasn’t it? If it was, you’re exactly the type of person we need to help support our Contact Centre Administration team as our part time afternoon Receptionist. In this position, you’ll be responsible for carrying out various daily functions; you will be our go-to person for reception coverage as well as our afternoon support person for internal building and support requests and inquiries.

The hours of work for this position are Monday to Friday, 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

What You'll Do

  • You’ll be a team player. We have a motivating and enthusiastic work environment, and we’re looking for people who can positively contribute to it.
  • You will share duties with our team of front desk receptionists (directing calls, greeting and directing walk-in visitors, directing member inquiries warmly and effectively – you get the idea).
  • You’ll be a go-to person for internal requests.
  • You will order and maintain centre supplies - including coffee and breakroom supplies, and ensure that our four breakrooms are well stocked at all times.
  • You’ll happily meet the needs of your internal and external customers.

What You've Done

  • You have a high school diploma.
  • You already have some experience in customer service, reception or general office procedures and administration.
  • You have outstanding telephone etiquette.
  • You’re well versed in all standard computer applications.
  • You’re comfortable with learning and becoming proficient with new systems and processes.
